Kane joined Bayern from Tottenham Hotspur in the summer of 2023 and quickly established himself as one of the Bundesliga’s most prolific scorers, netting 103 goals in just 106 appearances. His impressive form was instrumental in securing the 2024-25 Bundesliga title—his first major club trophy—which he says has only fuelled his hunger for more success.
Reflecting on his initial expectations, Kane admitted, “If you had asked me when I left for Bayern, I would have confidently said I’d return to the Premier League. Now, after a couple of years, that feeling has definitely cooled. I could see myself staying longer at Bayern, but I wouldn’t say I’d never go back”. While the Premier League’s all-time goal record—still within reach for Kane—was once a driving ambition, he now insists his focus rests squarely on Bayern, where he feels both personally and professionally satisfied.
“I am fully committed to Bayern. I enjoy working with the manager, Vincent Kompany, and as long as we’re pushing forward and I’m improving, I’m happy to see what we can achieve together,” Kane said. He added that he remains open to having an “honest conversation” if Bayern approach him about extending his stay, but there is no rush to make any decisions.
Kane’s message to fans is clear: his immediate future lies in Munich, and while a Premier League return cannot be entirely ruled out, he is embracing life in Germany and remains driven to add more silverware to his collection.
