Major Blow for PSG! Désiré Doué Out for Weeks 

Paris Saint-Germain (PSG) will be without one of their brightest young stars, Désiré Doué, for several weeks after the forward suffered a right thigh muscle injury during their 1-1 Ligue 1 draw against Lorient. The 20-year-old was visibly emotional as he was carried off on a stretcher around the 61st minute of the match and subsequently left the stadium using crutches. PSG confirmed that Doué has a muscle lesion in his right thigh and that further assessment will be made after the international break.​

Doué’s injury is a significant setback for PSG and their manager Luis Enrique, who described the injury as “unusual” and expressed hope that it wouldn’t be too serious. This comes shortly after Doué had returned from a previous calf injury sustained during international duty with France.
